With 22 retail stores across Europe and a large online store, Angeljoe is one of the leading specialist fishing retailers. We moved the store completely to Shopware 6 – from the legacy system all the way to go-live.
A store that had grown – and hit its limits.
Angeljoe serves a large, active community: rods, reels, lures and accessories for every target fish species – online and in 22 retail stores. The existing store could no longer carry that growth: technically limited, laborious to maintain and with no perspective for the years ahead.
The decision was made to rebuild completely on Shopware 6 – with a switch that must not put the day-to-day business at risk.
A complete replatforming – without interrupting sales.
We delivered the move to Shopware 6 end to end: data migration of products, customers and orders, a rebuilt frontend with angling-world and target-fish navigation, brand and sale areas, and the store section for the retail branches.
The go-live was planned so that sales continued without interruption – including a redirect concept to preserve the store's long-established Google rankings.
