Burgia Sauerland is one of Europe's leading suppliers of occupational safety equipment and workwear. Since 2024 we have been looking after the Shopware 5 store on an ongoing basis: performance upgrades, continuous development and the technical day-to-day of a store with more than 30,000 products.

Burgia Sauerland supplies customers across Europe with occupational safety equipment and workwear – more than 30,000 items, daily orders, new collections all the time. We took this store over around two years ago: not as a rebuild, but as a live operation that had to keep running reliably while continuing to evolve.
Taking over an existing system is a different challenge from building new: first understand how the grown structures work – then improve them carefully, without putting live operations at risk.
