From physical model to digital world

This is how versatile a Mini.World can look.

Project example · Grüne Woche 2025

Our Mini.World for the Vorpommern region.

For the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern hall at the Grüne Woche (International Green Week) in Berlin we developed a digital Mini.World that gave visitors an interactive look at the region's diversity – four areas, two districts and 32 regional providers with background information.

Gamification & search game

“Find the Küstenkieker”

To boost interactivity we built in the search game “Find the Küstenkieker”: the mascot hides once in each area, while “explorer secrets” unlock additional background information about places and buildings. Exploring becomes a playful journey instead of a plain information board.

Thanks to individually designed graphics and animations, each of the 32 locations comes to life – including stand numbers, so nobody gets lost at the fair.

On-site setup

Four touchscreens, one smooth operation.

For the on-site implementation we provided four 55-inch touchscreens and installed them directly at the Grüne Woche. We monitored quality throughout, stood by with emergency support and professionally dismantled the devices after the event – including an operating manual for the organisers.

Prominent visitors at the stand

The Mini.World in the spotlight of state politics.

Minister-President Manuela Schwesig, Agriculture Minister Dr. Till Backhaus and District Administrator Michael Sack had our digital Mini.World demonstrated to them in person at the Grüne Woche – and explored the Vorpommern region on the touchscreen.

A project with genuine regional roots.

This project was realised with the support of the State of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and the Fonds für Vorpommern und das östliche Mecklenburg. In close collaboration with ESB ProRegio² GmbH, who contributed the concept and idea, we developed the Mini.World from the first idea to the finished application – for a region we feel deeply connected to.

Frequently asked questions

Good to know.

How much does a Mini.World cost?

That depends on scope, illustrations and gamification elements. Lean applications with a handful of locations start in the low five-figure range; extensive projects with many locations and custom illustration sit above that. In an intro call we work out the numbers for your specific case.

How long does development take?

Our Vorpommern application for the Grüne Woche went from the first idea to a finished, tested product in around two months. Depending on scope and customisation, leaner or more extensive timelines are possible too.

Does the application work without internet access?

Yes, on request we build in offline functionality – important for exhibition halls or venues with unreliable Wi-Fi. The application then runs locally on the device.

Do you also handle the installation on site?

Yes. We deliver and install the touchscreens on site, test everything thoroughly, dismantle after the event and are available with emergency support if needed. On request we also provide the devices through our rental service.
